Gardening

Our garden planning starts with investigation. By collecting current, available information through books, news sources and Tedtalks, we are establishing the why? behind having a family garden. By visiting local farms and by conducting our own experiments, we are establishing methods of how? to grow a healthy garden and what? to grow. Finally, we will celebrate what we learn and what we grow when we share our garden with friends and classmates.

Listen, watch, and read along with us.

"For my part i know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream" ---Vincent Van Gogh

My tweens dream... And one of their dreams is to come together with other tweens to share and learn and to dream together. Where they are going, i cannot be certain, but I do know the world is a better place when we learn to go together.

This website is our attempt to teach our children safe and ever expanding ways of being a part of the online world as well as the real world. In the process, i learn.

They are my favorite teachers.

Globeatnight.org offers what we need to measure and record star magnitude which indicates the effects of light pollution. When we record our data, we contribute to a world wide collection of data and helps everyone find the true dark skies.

Bonus: we will also attempt to find the constellation of the month.
